Twenty tarsia vocab puzzles based on the vocab for each module in Viva 1 and Viva 2 (2 for each module). Students simply match the Eng to the TL to create a big shape. Can be used as a starter/plenary/retrieval activity. Each puzzle contains the big version and the solution which is a small version. To save paper, I sometimes use the small version and print/laminate on different colour paper to identify different packs when one piece if found on the floor! Hope you find these useful and fun.

All the KS3 (Viva 1 and 2) and GCSE (Viva) trapdoor speaking activities I’ve made. Pupils really enjoy the competitive element. Instructions are printed on the page and I usually print them A5 size so they are big enough for pupils to make notes of any vocab they don’t know but also saves on printing. They can be adapted. On these you will see they have ORTCP as we use this to remind students to include Opinions, Reasons, Tenses, Connectives and Posh phrases.
