A set of 16 Cards to play taboo. My finance class enjoyed playing this game and it gets some good descriptions of the key terms in the process. Rules are: one student has to describe the key term at the top without using any of the words on the card. First to guess gets the card and see how many cards each of them get by the end. Hope these are useful, I should be making them for the rest of the course soon.

After one lesson where my class were getting confused around the steps to find the Nth term, I quickly threw together this sheet on my iPad while sat waiting in a car park. It has the steps and some fading examples and I used it in conjunction with more questions in once pupils were more familiar with the method. The first page has no “middle” term, while the second one does. It worked really well with my class, please let me know if it helps you too!
