A fun resource that breaks down notated rhythms using syllables. Encourage pupils to clap and say the words and they will able to clap complex rhythms with ease. There are clapping challenges that can be cut up and rearranged to create new challenges as well as as blank boxes for pupils to start think about writing their own rhythm sequences. Most appropriate for those beginning their musical journey, has been successfully used in KS3 SEN and KS3 mainsteam settings.
