Discuss as a class or group and share a range of strategies that help — like talking to someone you trust, taking deep breaths, or doing something you enjoy.
2. Gratitude Jar
Think about and celebrate the things that make you happy or thankful.
Draw or write them in the Gratitude Jar.
This can be used to create a bright classroom display — and it’s a lovely reminder to look back on whenever someone feels upset or needs a little boost.
Pyramid Iaith- Language Pyramid
Designed to develop Welsh fluency with Year 2 sentence patterns
Translator Card- Sentence patterns are written in English. The translator works their way down the pyramid translating each sentence accurately.
Referee Card- Sentences are translated into Welsh. The referee listens to the translator and corrects them partner if they make a mistake. The translator keeps going back to the start of the pyramid until they can get to the end without any mistakes.
