This activity covers the Year 6 NC topic: Use common factors to simplify fractions; use common multiples to express fractions in the same denomination The questions have been designed with the SATs in mind. Questions have been designed to be very similar to those found in past papers. Answers are available, as is a full lesson video if you are using this as part of an intervention or need the guided instruction (for a TA or a substitute teacher) I have also cut the activities into strips and used for differentiation, homework or as additional revision. There are many ways to use this resource to suit your cohort.

A Valentines themed puzzle based on finding equivalent fractions, decimal and percentages. This can be completed individually but Ihave found this to be a good group activity. Simply find two matching answers and join those sides together. The final puzzle creates a heart shape which can be coloured in and used to create a lovely display.
