Reflection on a Grid and Graph (Lower Set)

This is a carefully scaffolded lesson targeted for lower set KS3. When adapted appropriately can be used for higher set, and possibly used as recap lesson for weak KS4 learners. The layouts are SEND friendly. Feel free to adapt as needed. Any corrections, specific requests and reviews is welcomed.

Parallel and Perpendicular Lines (Lower Set)

(0)
This is a carefully scaffolded lesson driving home the conceptual understanding of parallel and perpendicular property of lines. This lesson is planned specifically for lower set but feel free to adapt where necessary to meet pupils’ needs. The layouts are SEND friendly. My goal on TES is to plan lessons the way I would have wished to be taught years ago. Hope this helps. Any spotted errors and intended corrections are welcome; reviews as well, Just give me a shout.

Order of Rotational Symmetry (Lower Set)

(0)
This lesson is carefully scaffolded to enhance understanding of rotational symmetry by lower ability pupils in key stage 3. It is expected that prior to this lesson reflective symmetry (or lines of symmetry) should have been learned by the pupils as it concerns common plane shapes. This lesson focuses on enhancing the conceptual understanding of lower ability learners. It builds confidence and encourages independent thinking.
