This hand-made, hand-animated, handwriting resource models the complete alphabet in both capital and lower-case form on an endless loop so that you’re free to spend more time focusing on your learners! It also includes a few handy tips and strategies for breaking habits such as b/d p/q letter reversals, and sitting letters with descenders such as g, p, y on the line. This resource is a breeze to navigate thanks to hyperlinks that quickly get you to the right slide, and the animations will loop so that your child can see exactly what they need to do whilst they practice. I have developed and improved this resource over the last couple of years and used it extensively with my Year 2 class, however it could just as easily be used in EYFS, Year 1 or even Year 3 to consolidate letter formation. Letters are organised by the 4 handwriting letter families set out in the National Curriculum: Curly Caterpillars, Ladder Letters, One-Armed Robots and Zig-Zag letters. There is an option for both straight and looped variants of K. I really hope it works as well for you as it has for me, and would really appreciate any feedback you have!

Bridge the gap between phonics and fluency with this dual-purpose Common Exception Word (CEW) set. Specifically designed to align with Little Wandle Letters & Sounds Revised, these cards move beyond simple rote memorization to foster true orthographic mapping. What makes this set different? Low-Cognitive Load Design: Clean, distraction-free layouts ensure pupils focus entirely on the grapheme-phoneme relationship. Targeted Scaffolding: Each word explicitly highlights the “tricky part,” providing a visual cue for the non-decodable elements of the word. Pattern Recognition: Smart colour-coding groups words with similar spelling patterns, allowing children to make connections (e.g., find, kind, mind) rather than seeing them as isolated exceptions. Curriculum-Wide Coverage: Includes the full statutory list for both Year 1 and Year 2. Versatile Classroom Application: From a permanent spelling frieze for independent writing to targeted intervention flashcards, these are built for high-frequency use in the classroom or at home.

Liven up your classroom and reveal number patterns with this vibrant set of replacement pocket chart numbers! Designed specifically to fit the TTS 100 Square (and most universal pocket charts at a standard 5cm x 5cm), I designed these cards with colour-coded columns to highlight the important KS1 skill of counting on and back in 10s. I have used these for several years and compared to the plain inserts most 100 square charts come with these are a game-changer when you’re teaching Place Value! If you find this resource useful, a quick review would mean so much!
