KS2 French | Grammar: Articles Indéfinis-DELF A1
Help young French beginners practise un, une and des with 10 printable exercises, 110 written items, a complete answer key and a bonus drawing game.
Designed for children around ages 7–8, this DELF A1-level French grammar resource introduces indefinite articles through a short dialogue and a reference table. Students practise with vocabulary about food, snacks, kitchen items and tableware.
What’s included:
6 student pages with 10 exercises and 110 written items
A short introductory dialogue and reference table
A separate 6-page answer key
Teacher’s notes with suggestions for use
Le dessin mystère du chef: a drawing game with instructions and printable game pages
The activities progress from choosing the correct article to recognising singular and plural nouns, changing articles when the number changes, correcting mistakes, completing dialogues and writing short sentences. Exercises 1–9 have ten items each; Exercise 10 has twenty.
In the bonus game, students work in pairs. One player draws a word without speaking or writing letters, while their partner tries to say it with the correct article. Their goal is to use six different words and collect two chef’s hats for each article.
Suitable for beginner French and FLE lessons, DELF A1-level grammar practice, revision, homework and small-group work.
Format: 18-page printable A4 PDF.
