Two original, printable A4 Christmas colour-by-number sheets for KS1 (Year 1 and Year 2). Page 1 is a Christmas tree picture that uses addition within 10. Page 2 is a snowman picture that uses subtraction within 20. Children work out each sum, then colour the square using the colour key to reveal the picture. There’s very little to prepare, so it works well for an end-of-term lesson, early finishers or homework. It practises number bonds and fluency with addition and subtraction facts (National Curriculum Y1/Y2). Print in black and white and use crayons or felt tips.
