Used for a Y6 class to discuss internet safety. Full lesson plan, worksheet, power point including the legal ages to use social media sites. Also a Note to teacher to allow children to evaluate how they have developed their understanding over the lesson.

Some grammar activities which I would have on the board ready for when my year 6 class arrived in the morning.

Used for 2015 European Day of Languages. Worksheets differentiated for years 3,4,5 and 6. Children can view the PowerPoint to identify flags, and then see how to greet in the respective countries. Children then have to match the flags and learn to write down how to introduce themselves in multi languages.

6 weeks worth of morning activites / lesson starters (based on using 3x per week) using the Vocab Ninja’s Word of the Day cards. Each card is displayed on the SMART notebook with a WOD task for the children to complete to cement their understanding and application of that word. Synonyms & Antonyms as well as a definition are provided. Some task texts may need altering to fit your school. *I did not create the WOD cards, just simply collated them together for this resource.

A set of SMART notebook slides which contain a variety of ks2 maths starters to engage children as soon as they enter the classroom. Used with my year 6 class.

20 question Christmas Quiz that i’ll be using with my Y6 class. Mixture of questions about Christmas, nativity, advent etc. Could easily be made easier/harder. Space for children to write on the sheet.

World War Poet, Wilfred Owen wrote Dulce et decorum est. Here is a Reading VIPERS task created to develop a depth of understanding for the poem. Questions can be altered to suit abilities.

A short missing word worksheet which covers some basic beliefs of Hinduism. Children need to select the correct word from the box provided to put into the text. Designed for a Year 4 class but easily modified for Y3/5.
