Am using as last lesson before Y11 go on study leave to revise some key words they often struggle with. Can easily be adapted as a reading quiz but the document attached is to be read out by the quizmaster (picture round must be printed) with answers to picture round on last page. Prost!

Two levels of challenge for differentiated reading practice. Question style to match new GCSE including answering in German, True / False / Not Mentioned and identifying key aspects of a text.

Following the German version, this is a pub quiz style revision lesson for Y11. All you need is: 1 copy of picture round per team 1 copy of question sheet Lined paper for each team. Quiz goes through 6 GCSE topics quizzing on specific vocabulary. This proves very popular and enjoyable.

I use this with my mixed ability Y9 German GCSE group, could be used in Y10 to cover the hobbies and free time topic. Allows students to analyse and break down responses to promote a fully developed response as required in the mark scheme for the photo card. Writing response sheets included to allow easy feedback for students.
