Halves Song

(0)
A useful song to support working with money and time. The catchy tune helps children to remember the half and quarter values of hours and pounds. The song should start slowly, gradually picking up speed until the last verse, where it is very fast, and finishes with a shouted "HEY!" Includes lyrics sheet and musical score.

Four Times' Table Song

(0)
A bright and happy way to teach the four times table, accompanied by a slap, slap, clap rhythm. Every time you sing: 'we can do our fours', the final 'fours' is to be shouted out triumphantly! This has been used very successfully with special needs children, who find it helpful to learn through songs- especially high energy ones like this one! Lyrics, musical score and backing track are all included.

Days in the months song

(0)
Remembering how many days in each month is really difficult for many children. This is a version of the old poem that I have adapted to fit to the tune of "Bobby Shaftoe went to sea". I have used it very successfully especially with children who have special learning needs. I usually sing it over and over, starting in C, then move up a key at a time , getting faster each time and ending in G, by which time they play it on the kazoo!!
