A unit of work building up to, and including, the writing of Francis, the short film (Literacy Shed). This unit of work includes a comprehension lesson (including a SEN version) & grammar lessons including adverbs, adverbial phrases, direct speech, coordinating conjunctions, subordinating conjunctions and clauses, similes & metaphors and editing/ redrafting. There is also a writing frame & support sheet. You may wish to edit parts of the worksheets to use your teacher’s name in examples.
