This is a resource which teaches students the basics of plastics (polymers). This is linked to the GCSE curriculum, but could be taught for Year 9. This then develops into a project looking at prosthetics. Thinking on the lines of…if there were prosthetics when the dinosaurs were roaming, would they still be here? The focus is on design and development rather than making a dinosaur leg. There are loads of opportunities to design and develop and model. I have added in examples to show you.
