Based around an article found on OuestFrance about how le Mont St Michel is coping with tourism and respect of the environment. Aimed at IB students but could work for A-level, or an excellent Y11 cohort in need of a stretch. Type of exercises you will find: Finding the words in the article matching the definitions given. 2.Matching french and english Completing the sentences with the correct word according to your understanding of the text. A powerpoint and worksheet used with my mixed ability set year 9 to review the past tense and see some topical vocabulary on Christmas. 3 documents based on the idea of climatoscepticism (or when people do not believe in climate change) This document is aimed at IB (or A-level students). The idea is to cover the popular topic of the environment but to see it in a slightly different light. Previous knowledge on the topic will therefore be necessary. The first 2 documents are a student and teacher version of a worksheet based on an article about the idea of climatoscepticism. You will have comprehension questions and analysis of the vocabulary found in the article. The aim is to start a conversation/(a debate in class for good sets) based on the idea that some people don’t believe in climate change. The third is a simple worksheet with some questions on a video about the kind of people who are climatosceptical. You will find the answers in green.
