Following our Ofsted, I couldn’t think of anything to talk about except for sleeping!! This ppt and ‘script’ is a light hearted look at how much sleep we all need and what the position you sleep in says about you … oo- er…. It’s not as risque as it sounds!

Feeling that pupils understood how unacceptable racist and sexist language is but that they thought that using the word "gay" to mean something derogatory was ok, I decided to write this assembly (script and powerpoint) to help make the point that this vocabulary is unacceptable in our school.

This is a step by step lesson on a ppt teaching things in the classroom and plurals. It has lots of memory games and activities for pupils to practice lots of new language. The worksheet is a copy of the battleships slide so they don't waste time copying it down ;-) it was made to accompany Expo 1 p14
