AImed at GCSE Foundation students. Designed to be printed at A3 size. There are 4 separate posters; Number, Algebra, Shape and Data. They are not comprehensive and so do not cover all topics. They are meant to be a reminder of the basics. I made these for a class who were mainly working at a Grade 4 and needed lots of confidence boosting. They really liked these posters and once completed and they said they put them on their wall at home to remember how to do the questions. They liked the fact that they were hand drawn! Answers provided on a separate file.

Using the lattice method to practice multipliying 1 digit, 2 digit and 3 digit numbers together. Pupils must find the correct answer from a choice of 3 and use this to colour the picture that has a Christmas Theme. If the colours are not available then you can change them to ones the students have available.

Class game of Jeopardy designed to revise solving linear equations. Aimed at GCSE revision for Grades 4 to 5, or for any other class that has covered solving linear equations and are revising for a test. There are a couple of questions on random topics (prime factors and inequalities) as I like to throw these in at random to keep the kids on their toes! Pupils have to follow the step-by-step instructions involving bearings and distances to create a series of shapes. They get increasingly more difficult. A basic knowledge of bearings is required. There are 7 slides in this presentation. All answers are included. I made this starter for my Year 10 class of high ability pupils.

32 revision questions based on all topics across the AQA specification, with all answers included. A total of 65 slides. Individual questions can be printed out or displayed on screen to reduce printing costs.

A set of clue cards to display on the board as a starter task. I produced this for a lesson where I was intending to use the excellent Mathematical Team Games resource by Tarquin publications. It gets students reading instructions and how to search for clues to start solving the problem. Solution given which links to nth term of a quadratic sequence.

Developed primarily for higher level GCSE maths students. Revision of formulae for the area of various 2D shapes, and working backwards from clues about the shapes to find the lengths needed to calculate the areas. The answer is 3622.22 cm squared correct to 6 s.f. (assuming that my workings are correct!) You could tell the pupils to put their answer correct to a different number of significant figures, whatever works for you. Please feedback if you use this resource and let me know if it worked ok.

June 2013 paper adapted as a Treasure Hunt with 11 pages to post around the room. The answer to each question (integers only) is on the top of the page of the next question when printed out. Shuffle them up before putting them around your class room.

A diagnostic-questions style quiz identifying sequences as either arithmetic, geometric, quadratic or Fibonacci-style. Useful as a starter activity. Answers are not provided.
