Shackleton’s Journey vocabulary book contains words from Shackleton’s Journey, organised by chapter. Each word contains a definition, word class, most contain synonyms and an example of the sentence that the word appears in. This has been used to complement writing and shared reading lessons.

A set of sentence stems to support children in their justification of reasoning and understanding of mathematical problems.

A selection of reading skills with linked questions to support when planning shared/guided reading. Children could also have a copy of this to support them with independent learning.

There has been lots of virtual library floating about on Twitter and Instagram. I have used a template created by Marine Academy so I won’t be taking full credit for this. I have adapted it and added a few more resources - these include Julia Donaldson films, books to suit age groups and books that link to videos with British Sign Language.
