A paper based activity to show students how replica plating works and why it is used.

An idea from the BBC Quiz show ‘Only Connect’. Student have to find four groups from 16 items. There are 3 examples in this resource but the possibilities are endless! You can make it as fiendish as you like. Prompts great discussions with students about why certain groups will/won’t work. Asking them for the link, to define the terms etc can be used to extend the task.
