The presentation highlight the work of Aretha Franklin, Ballet Black, Alvin Alley, Artur Mitchell founder of Harlem Dance Theatre. The second resource identifies the work early work of Phoenix Dance Theatre, Kokuma, and IRIE Dance Theatre This resource could be use as part of an assembly, and include performances from Students in Performing Arts: Dance, Music and Theatre, highlighting the work of these artist.
