This is a short test that assesses how much knowledge students have learned during their Cyber Security Unit. It is fairly short, as the unit is fairly slim itself, but covers all topics including malware, penetration testing, social engineering, cyber security methods.

An assessment test designed to test your class on their knowledge and understanding of Networks as outlined in the AQA 8520 specification. Questions include: Definition of network Types of network Protocols TCP/IP Stack Network topologies Network Security measures. The test is fairly exhaustive in terms of what it covers and should indicate where there may be gaps in students learning. Please let me know if you feel there are any other questions that could be asked.

This resource contains two powerpoints and a mini assessment for the Cyber Security unit in AQA’s 8520 Computer Science specification. The lessons are very concise, nothing needs to be printed, students will be making notes and mindmaps from the powerpoint. Video links are included in the slides. A mini assessment is also included (sold separately for £2) to test how much information has been retained and your students’ abilities to apply their learning.

This test covers advanced programming techniques and knowledge from the AQA Specification. It covers: 3.2.6 Data Structures 3.2.7 Input/output and File Handling 3.2.8 String Handling 3.2.9 Random Number Generation 3.2.10 Subroutines 3.2.11 Structured Programming 3.2.13 Classification of Programming Languages The test has some questions that are Python specific, but these can be easily modified. It is expected that all programming content before 3.2.6 has already been covered. 3.2.12 is omitted as this is covered during NEA preparation in July.
