Biography planning and resources based on Mo Farah and Sam Quek. Children can choose which sports person they would like to gather facts about (from the powerpoint supplied) and then write their biography about. Resources include: detailed planning, powerpoints, differentiated worksheets and a checklist to go into children’s books. Resources and planning should last roughly 4 lessons.

Two days worth of lessons based on The Gunpowder Plot. Planning included in the notes section of the powerpoint. First lesson based on inference and deduction, second lesson based on the children making a comic strip. Differentiated resources included for the comic strip: 1 and 2 chillis has key words to include and 3 chillis is the comic strip frame.

Ideal for a cover lesson (original purpose). Was used with a year 6 class but could easily be adapted through input to suit lower year groups.
