How I’ve used this resource: This has been specifically written for an adult or older child to speak aloud whilst the children carry out the moves as described in the poem. It encourages movement, co-ordination, rhythm, expression and musicality. Fantastic for getting little bodies moving after lunch, to re-focus or to participate in for fun! If used regularly, children start to memorise the words and join in too which is fantastic for speech development and communication skills. It could also be pre-recorded by an adult to use as a digital resource for class or home enjoyment.
