PPT with clear examples and instructions for activities for a Year 6 Reading set.

This is a ppt I have created for a Y6 writing day, focusing on the music video 'Titanium'. The children absolutely love the video and responded really well to the tasks. In addition to the writing day slides, the ppt also has a WAGOLL slide for each section of the story, past examples and success criteria (relating to the new expected/greater depth guidelines for Y6). In this pack: - PPT for whole unit - Pages to create chn booklet for each activity - door signs for writing day/carousel - Sentence starter cards/starter activities This has taken the Y6 team approx 3 weeks to complete, with approx 4 hours of writing a week. Many of you have purchased and enjoyed my Titanium Narrative unit. Here is another narrative unit based on the disappearance of an imaginary student. The input was set up in the hall with evidence scattered around for the children to inspect, then they began retelling the story from an outsiders perspective or first person. This pack includes: - Photographs of the evidence. -PPT with clear slow write instructions ( this was the first unit so it is very structured) - Examples of text to use for features and learning toolkit wall.
