This is a set of 2 'miniSATs&' I made to test my year 6s after taking them through various &';missing number' problems on the board. There are a variety of types of question, and several of each type to drill in the strategies and tactics.

I've made this from a passage from the Hobbit (when the Dwarves dine with Beorn). It&'s just a simple 2 sheet worksheet designed to get them practicing Reading SATs style questions.

In the same vein as my missing number ones, this is a SAT style paper that focuses almost entirely on questions of area and perimeter. There is also a revision aid that I drew tips all over in red pen and laminated.

This is a complete lesson to introduce the book 'We&'re Sailing To Galapagos&';. The Notebook file has all the pages of the book with appropriate images and text on the top so that all the children can see and join in with the text. The lesson plan has a 3 group differentiated lesson for those who can't write a lot to those using time connectives. The resource is for the lower ability to write simple sentences with picture prompts.

Fantastic worksheets that I plan to laminate and use over and again with my Year 1s. I did not make these, found them on TeachItPrimary, just had to share.

For each subject, I have created nice, capitalised letters (about 15cm high) to be cut and laminated. They are stylised to be subject specific, but still all tie together thematically. I also have (and will upload) letters for The Saga of Bjorn and Journey. I put this together to show my year 1s different types of collage and different materials they could use, with emphasis on paper.

This is something I stole from the internet and reformatted slightly. It is a worksheet/activity for pupils to look in a pattern and find different shapes. Some of the shapes are right there, some have to be made from compound shapes.
