DNA – Improvisation, Peer Pressure and Moral Choice (KS3/KS4 Drama Lesson)
Lesson Overview
This fully resourced drama lesson uses DNA by Dennis Kelly to explore peer pressure, responsibility and moral choice through practical improvisation. Students respond to a serious accident caused by a dare, focusing on the ethical consequences of choosing whether to tell the truth or protect the group. It would be a good introductory lesson.
The lesson is low literacy, highly engaging and designed to support KS3 and KS4 learners, including SEN and mixed-ability classes.
