This is a series of lessons that teaches children how to create a painting of a Engine House in the style of Monet. They will learn the skill in creating tints, tones and shades of colour. A recap on the colour wheel- primary, secondary and tertiary colours. It also gets the children to practise different techniques that can be used when creating a painting i.e. brush strokes, sponging and scruffito.

This is a series of lessons that looks specifically at pulleys. There are 5 lessons in total. Each lesson will have a notebook presentation to share with the class. Alongside this there will be teacher notes to follow. These lessons were made to fit a topic that we covered on natural disasters. I linked the DT on a problem the children had to solve, which was the design, build and evaluate a mechanism that will pull water from a well.
