<p>Themed Python tasks about a fictional Italian restaurant named Sergio’s.</p> <p>Aimed at GCSE (Year 10 and 11) students studying Computer Science. Knowledge required includes inputs, for loops, while loops, calculations, file handling and operators (modulo division and integer division).</p> <p>This resource also contains a printable version of the tasks (two pages on a blank background so you can select 2 ‘pages per sheet’ and print two copies per A4) as well as answers.</p> <p>The ‘starters’ tasks are shorter and the ‘mains’ are longer. The prices (e.g. £4.75 for the ‘total cost’ task) denote relative difficulty - cheaper tasks are easier.</p> <p>Possible uses:</p> <ul> <li>Get students to choose one starter and one main.</li> <li>Give students a time limit to complete £20 worth of tasks.</li> <li>Extension: Can they think of another restaurant themed task as a ‘Dessert’ task for their peers to attempt?</li> </ul>
