6+ weeks of planning linking DT to the Romans. Focus for DT is around levers and sliders. Key Questions to drive the enquiry: What is a mechanism? How can I use a slider to create a moving image? What are levers and linkages and how can I use them to make a moving image? How can I tell a story or give information using moving images? How can I make my background look effective?

9 weeks of gymnastics planning. Uses benches, beams and vault/springboard if confident to teach with this equipment. Key Questions to drive the enquiry: What is a roll and how can I perform one professionally? What is a balance and how can I perform one professionally? What is a counterbalance and how can I perform one professionally? What is a jump and how can I perform one professionally? How can we showcase our moves in a sequence? How can we perform our sequence professionally?

6 weeks of tag rugby focusing on the following: • How do I throw a rugby ball? • How do I move with my team and the ball? (attacking) –dodging, passing and moving • How do I defend against a moving team? –tagging • How can my team keep possession in tag rugby?
