Interactive simulation with worksheet and Powerpoint presentation for students to discover the rules governing current and potential difference in series and parallel circuits.
Easy to plot current/ potential difference graphs to show the relationship between current and potential difference in Ohmic and non-Ohmic circuit devices.
Simple differentiated PPT which can be used for KS3 and KS4 when teaching energy dissipation. The powerpoint provides students with the opportunity to discuss the concept of useful and wasted energy using the thermal Imaging of a combustion engine car.
Additionally students are given the opportunity to calculate the wasted energy from different types of engines as well to compare the efficiency of EV vs combustion engine.

This is a simple engaging activity which can be used in lesson or as an out- of-class enrichment task for students to use the game Minecraft as a learning tool. The activities cover hydroelectricity, geothermal energy resource, wave energy resource, wind energy, tidal energy resource and solar energy resource. The task can easily be adapted to use pictures of energy resources rather than by using Minecraft.
