Great to leave for a supervision - students are researching to find what type of piece of music technology was invented in that year and the use of the item. Students then complete a writing task using that knowledge to help them think of what technology has most appealed to them.

The Grade Range Calculator assists teachers in finding out the grade in an A-E spread in terms of points. Ie: If a piece of students worth is an exam out of 41, you type the amount of points the assessment is out of and the Grade Range Calculator will determine where the points sit within the grade range. The spreadsheet will present the upper and lower range marks (+/-) for each grade. Depending on the total marks, the values will round up or down when considering whole numbers.

This resource was created particularly for students with autism to assist in studying conflict in the workplace. Student have trouble recognising what conflict looks like, therefore I broke down body language, facial expressions and different emotions to help them to identify them in pictures.

I use this resource once I have written up my Learning Intention and Success Criteria. With the students I will identify which skill (cognitive verb) we are using today in the lesson and put up the relevant, laminated card so they understand what I want their outcome to be. Reading with vocabulary activity following Pat Hipwell's teaching. History and a little about 1990's/

A reading and inferring activity, using John Collins to create this resource. Go through the words first to break down the barriers then students read the reading and answer the inferring questions.

This resource can be used when students are on camps, or many of your students are in and out for the week. It is linked with the year 8 unit of "Teen Representations". This can be a whole weeks worth of lessons as some activities are longer than others. Also great for a super lesson.

Useful to help instil and breakdown the elements of timbre, texture and structure and explaining how music fusion was incorporated by the Tash Sultana.
