An interactive whiteboard timer may also be useful so children can keep track of how much time they have left. This worksheet splits up writing activity into the imaginative stage, the planning stage, the writing stage, and the checking stage. Children will jot down ideas / pictures whilst listening to Pomp and Circumstance, and then go onto the next section of the sheet to answer questions which will help them plan their narrative.
