Year 7 Still Life Project (with baseline assessment, new levels, success criteria and growth mindset

This is a project I have designed for my new year 7, for Autumn term. Pupils learn about four different artists and produce their own still life final piece which takes inspiration from their research. Alongside this, pupils learn basic drawing and painting skills with a variety of tasks. I have included levels and success criteria as well as slides for self/peer assessment and growth mindset. Learning objectives are included and differentiation by outcome is most appropriate here. The levels and success criteria slides can me modified for your own use. Plenty of work to cover the first full term. Lovely, creative and colourful, well worth the price. The assessment breakdown can be requested if you want to use my criteria for assessment.

This is a project I have designed for my year 7, for Winter term. Pupils learn about Cubism and text portraits and produce their own self portrait and a number of other portraits, inspired by their research. Alongside this, pupils learn basic portrait proportion and drawing techniques. An end of term test is also included. The culture aspect - in my school- is a week of clay work inspired by the day of the dead, I haven’t included any slides for this.
