This resource has compiled information and images about the history of the Christian Church from Wikipedia and other sources into an easy visual format. Using group work and old fashioned cutting and pasting, students of history and religion will enjoy creating large graphic displays about specific historical periods. A lot has happened over two thousand years and this resource is an ideal way to introduce Christianity. It can serve as a forerunner to more in depth study of specific events and people. Key historical events, theological concepts and debates, interesting people and controversies are all in this resource, which covers the essentials. Educators need a good photocopying allowance to get the best out of this resource as some colour photocopying is involved. Ideal for ages 14 and up. This resource works best off line, but having the Internet handy is also useful.
