Fun summer term photography alphabet project i put together for my year 9 students, they really enjoyed this as they put together all of the skills they have learnt to create a final piece. They were given an assignment brief and i have also attached the handout.

This is a 6 week Textiles felt food project i put together for my year 8 Technology classes on rotation. This project helps students to produce a felt food product based on the work of the artist Lucy Sparrow, the powerpoint follows the booklet and there are a few additional tasks. A collection of artists that base their work around portraiture, there are also some additional artists included. I have used these sheets to add to an artist library i have started to create, the a great to laminate as you can photocopy each sheet in colour for artist research and saves students time.

I have designed a range of student progress trackers for lessons to help Assessment for learning, they are used in lessons to help students work through each stage of the task looking at Learning objectives, prior knowledge, targets, assessment and challenge. These can be adapted for any lesson and subject, they can be differentiated to your lesson and are really helpful for students to refer to.

Portrait project looking at the meaning behind a portrait and an analysis of artists work. There is a step be step guide of how to draw a face using the correct proportions and slides focusing on adding details to the facial features. There are homework tasks and video links included with analysis sheets ready to print from the power point.

This activity can be used for one lesson or developed across a number of lessons. Students can design a self portrait or base it on a celebrity of their choice, i have attached some portraits to the powerpoint to help you. I used this for an activity day based on Unicef for ages 11-16 and it worked really well, students can use a range of colours and fonts.
