This unit of work includes 5 lessons of Jazz Dance using 'Chicago' the musical as a stimulus in which to improve students dance skills. This unit of work references learning objectives of both A and B and can be used for both a Y10 or Y11 class.

Introduction to choreography through a visual stimulus Street Art. Aim/s: This scheme of work gives students the opportunity to create choreography based on using Street Art as visual stimuli. The scheme of work focuses on basic aspects of choreography. Students will analyse a given stimuli (colour, emotions, shapes, patterns, dynamics) and will use the analysis as a starting point for creating movement. Students will learn what choreograph devices are and use them to develop set material.
