This is a useful sheet describing the use of the Si present + futur clause and the Quand futur + future clause with some exercises for students to practice.

This is a really handy grid activity where students get to 'pick' three out of nine activities possible to complete as long as it makes a straight line on the grid (e.g vertical, horizontal, diagonal). This can be modified for ANY unit of work you are doing - I have modified this countless numbers of times and change it if we are working on sports, directions, food and drink etc. It keeps the students very busy and they tend to enjoy getting to choose their activity.

I created this step by step guide to writing a recipe vlog. I shared some simple French dessert recipe books with my students that used the infinitive to give instructions rather than the imperative, hence why the second step asks students to highlight infinitives. They photocopied the recipe they liked and could annotate it.

I created this worksheet to promote student’s speaking in the classroom. The game “times up” where they have to describe books/films/objects/events etc… to their classmates in French influenced the sentences I wrote on the sheet. Students often found it difficult to find the right words to describe these things to their peers so this help sheet would be useful for them to express these things with more ease. The hope is that eventually they won’t need to use it and describe things with more ease and without notes!
