This powerpoint is designed to be printed as an A3 sheet which pupils can then complete using the original study (also uploaded). I would suggest reading the original study being set as homework prior to the lesson. The first slide is the most tricky, it has no page number for the pupils to refer to this should be printed in A3 and pupils asked to complete the APRC for each of Rosenhan’s mini studies of which there are three. The second slide can be used as a help sheet and displayed on the board if pupils are finding it difficult. The second slide is medium ability as it directs pupils towards certain page numbers within the study. The third slide can be displayed on the board as a help sheet whilst pupils work through the study themselves. If you have any questions about the resource please do not hesitate to ask.

A simplified summary of a twin study as part of the methods sections for Edexcel A Level Psychology spec reference 3.2.3. I wanted the pupils to have detail but found the Brain textbook and the original article (which I used to create the summary) too difficult for them. This summary is detailed enough that they can understand the study and make their own notes from it.
