Je me présente powerpoint presentation to learn/revise basic descriptions and personal information. Ideal for KS3 and can be used for revision at KS4

Fits in with Expo 2 (vert) module 3 - les sorties - tu veux sortir ...
powerpoint to introduce new vocabulary and give reactions. No explanation of the verb 'vouloir&' as this is for my bottom set year 9 and I will deal with that separately ....
Huge thanks to Jane80 who made a Big Fat French Quiz - and I thought it was so good, I have copied her format and made an Italian version. I get my classes to make jokers and use them on 1 round, so that they double their score for that round and this makes the quiz out of 50. I am sure that there may be better questions out there so please feel free to let me know if it can be improved. I hope you will find this an ideal resource for the end of the year. I have also just updated the answer sheets at the end which i realise were incorrect - sorry.
una giornata tipica - daily routine powerpoint to match (almost) with Amici p36. Gives Garfield pictures to demonstrate the activities and also explains reflexive verbs. Opportunity to test new vocab on last page of vocab before grammar section.
Future tense in Italian. Follows the grammar section in Amici. Powerpoint to explain the future tense with slide by slide explanation, a gap fill activity amd group work task.
Please leave me feed back - perhaps advice how to improve it!
Two discovery work sheets to introduce the passé composé, ideal for year 8. The format fits in with Expo 1 in the section where the past tense is introduced after module 6. The sheets have been differentiatied for the able and less able ends of the class. Pair work to discover how the passé composé is formed and extension work.
A 'discovery' sheet for the past tense in Italian. Pupils work in groups to work out the rules for the different infinitive groups and then present their findings to the rest of the class. My pupils far prefer this kind of discovery work and group learning. Homework suggestion also attached so they can find out the past participles for irregular verbs and then they have to make up at least 5 sentences in the past tense.

A very basic matching game to help low ability sets with the passé composé when talking about holidyas. Cut up the sheets into single phrases. Number the English sentences with 1-8. Hand out all the the cards at random to pupils and get those with the English sentences to say them out loud. The person with the French sentence which matches has to stand up and say their matching sentence. Checks pronunciation and gives some basic sentences to use. Can then be used in foundation level writing.

This powerpoint fits with the introduction to the comparative in Expo 2 vert, chapter 3 page 49. I have designed the lesson for my bottom set year 9 group. Many thanks go to 'hughw&' whose format I have used and added to.
I have made the below activity for my year 10 class for the end of the year. You need to have a computer room, or access to computers for each pupil / pair. They have several facts to find out about Italy, culminating in information about holiday destinations and what they could do there. I hope it will fit in with the holiday topic we are currently studying and have a little cultural input! The answers to the first 17 questions are on the third page.
Wordsearch for Pasqua. Ideal end of term activity to learn key words for the Easter festivities. I have teamed this with a reading activity (not included here) which explains the Italian celebrations and which has some of the key words in it.
An AS Italian lesson I made for an observation last week on 'problemi sociali - smoking&'. There is a powerpoint lesson plan and all the resources I used from Amici and worksheets. Hope you find it useful. Please leave feedback and let me know how you would improve it!
a powerpoint presentation on school subjects. Fits with ch 5.2 Amici text book (almost). Colour coded for masc and fem subjects. Slide at the end so that you can play 'beat the teacher' to learn the vocabulary and the vocabulary is written out on the last 2 slides as well.
