All resources are included but part of the lesson requires access to Netflix to watch a short documentary on the history of oil in the region. Students learn about the population distribution of the Middle East through colouring their own Choropleth map and watch a short documentary to understand the importance of oil in the region. I usually teach this over two hours but it could be condensed to one.
