Dr. Shannon Bruce Ramaka facilitates an interview with student teachers in the ITESS (International Teacher Education of Secondary Schools) program to learn more about their virtual teaching practice. To everyone’s surprise, this was a rich cultural experience and may be considered as a prototype in teacher training after the COVID-19 pandemic subsides.

In April of 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic, I reached out to passionate educational leaders across the globe to build a virtual professional learning community. Since that time we have met two times a month to discuss global issues related to education, leadership, culture, and the pandemic. We have offered webinars, book talks, and faciliated research projects. Onehttps://visionaryed.org/ One of the collaborative projects was a webinar titled, “Supporting the Mental Health of Students” and I brought together a principal from the International School of Corinthia and an ITESS student with the support of COBIS.
