Year 8 Trampoline SOL
Created by a PE Teacher who holds a UKCC Level 2 Trampoline certificate and has over a decade of coaching experience. Geared towards Year 8 (ages 12-13) beginners but has opportunities to challenge students with experience. This SOL is mapped out over 6 weeks (6 hours).
It aims to build a strong foundation for students wishing to take GCSE PE by focusing on:
The 3 basic body landings: seat, front, and back
Twisting in and out of body landings
Transitioning from one body landing into another
Scaffolding them to be able to do a 10 bounce routine
