A series of 7 lessons focusing on the British Civil Rights movement. Including the Windrush, Bristol Bus Boycott, Mangrove 9, Stephen Lawrence, Notting Hill Riots and the Rivers of Blood Speech. Every lesson starts with a DO NOW and ends with a checkout - which builds towards student’s writing a narrative account.

A unit introducing the Edexcel American West topic and focusing on the Way of Life of the Native Americans. Each powerpoint has a number of activities and is linked to a workbooklet that students can complete.

3-4 lessons on injuries and illness on the Western Front using different sources. The first lesson focuses on the types of injury and illness, the second on the role of stretcher bearers, and the final lesson on medical improvements. Each lesson uses a number of different sources, to build up student’s analytical skills

A unit of 5-6 lessons based on the Black Death. Students explore the causes of the disease and the measures taken to prevent and treat it. Students then look at how life changed for the village of Walsham through the works of John Hatcher. Finally they will write their own essays using the work of Simon Schama

A unit of 4-5 lessons exploring medieval life, focusing on villages, the Manor, the farming year and Trial by Ordeals.

7 -10 lessons on the Anglo Saxons for Edexcel GCSE. The resource includes the powerpoints for each lesson and the workbook for the unit. Each lesson starts with a knowledge recall do now, and ends with a checkout, which is typically based on an exam skill. Activities have answer slides, although all information can be gained from the pearson textbooks.

7 - 10 lessons on the first unit for the edexcel Medicine in Britain GCSE. This includes both the powerpoint for all lessons, and a workbook for students. All lessons start with a Do Now, and there are activities and exam skills throughout.

4 lessons looking at interpretations of King John and the impact of the Magna Carta

3 lessons looking at the events of the murder, causes of the conflict and a judgement on who was most responsible for the death.
