This lesson is an introduction to entrepreneurial skills aimed at Year 4/5 pupils. The objective is to help pupils understand the definition of entrepreneurship, identify the characteristics and skills of an entrepreneur, and understand the concept of creating and managing an enterprise. The lesson consists of four parts: Introduction, Direct Teaching, Group Activity, and Conclusion. During the introduction, students will be introduced to the concept of entrepreneurship and the characteristics and skills of an entrepreneur. The teaching section will provide students with definitions and examples of entrepreneurship. The group activity will require students to work in groups to brainstorm ideas for a business scenario. Finally, in the conclusion, the key points of the lesson will be summarised and students will be encouraged to think creatively and take risks in their own lives.
