Business Studies AQA GCSE - 4.2 Recruitment and Selection of Employees

(0)
This PowerPoint is linked to the AQA Business Studies text book p175-180, it covers recruitment, why staff leave, how and why businesses recruit, types of recruitment, the recruitment and selection process. There are a couple of activities for students to undertake, a research and evaluation task and some flip learning and some small videos to watch. You may want to split this PP to cover over a few lessons.

Retail Business Unit 3 AC 1.1 (from start to task)

I have developed this PowerPoint to go through all of Unit 3 LO1. It is quite long and detailed and there is a poster task to do as you go along. But, if they complete the poster task, when your learners come to write up their controlled assessment, they should have comprehensive notes to allow them to do this independently. You can adapt it as you wish – add/remove some of the slides. You will need to plan to split them up into individual lessons to suit you – but all of Unit 3 1.1, the content below, is contained in this PP. There are also some videos and other activities to do along the way. On the Blue PP slides I have adapted it for JD Sports – you may choose another store that suits your learners. I hope it helps.

Health & Social Care (BTEC Tech Award) - C1 Keywords activity

An activity that can be used at the start of C1 - introduces key words in a wordsearch and then onto a paired, shared activity where students can discuss what they found, what they think the word means and come up with a good and bad example related to Health & Social Care based on their chosen word (differentiated for all abilities in student own choice of word). Homework from this is to research the definitions, and to learn these and the spellings.
