Regardless of the acronyms used to help learners structure their eassys, I find that learners need support in structuring their thoughts.
This lead me to create the following structure.
It has led to more thoughtful responses that are specifically related to the question being asked.
This is the Word version. The PDF version is also on TES.
This guide was created from scratch to assist some of my weaker learners recall the theory we covered over the duration of the academic year. The examples are simple and the content is concise. After each section there is a “Test yourself” section which mimics the exam style questions.

This is a flipped learning resource that puts the learning in the hands of your students.
The booklet is loosely based on the Cornell note taking method.
It has prompts to guide the learning.
It also has direct weblinks to freely available resources that will provide the relevant knowledge to the learners (these web resources are NOT owned by me and are referenced at the end of each booklet.)
There are questions at the end of each booklet to consolidate the learning (WARNING: there is NOT a suggested answer sheet to the questions as I have made them up. I have been marking them myself. The questions are not difficult, but someone who is not confident in the content may want to consider this before making a purchase)
This is a great tool for online/remote learning.
