The lanyard includes 11 mini cards that can be assembled to make a comprehensive user friendly toolkit for delivering Welsh throughout the day in the classroom. Each card also contains a QR code which links to soundbites modelling how to pronounce each phrase. The cards include phrases for the start, middle and end of the lesson, phrases for praise, group work, in assembly, around the school, questioning, PE and RE. Welsh Oracy Spinners for Welsh conversation in the primary setting

(0)
Three differentiated spinners for Progression Steps 1-3 providing prompts to ask and answer Welsh questions. The spinners are visual with picture prompts to allow for personalised responses. The spinners are interactive and engaging. The children can select the question they want to focus upon one at a time and are therefore not overloaded with too much information. When used regularly the spinners help to drill Welsh oracy skills and bring Welsh oracy to fluency. The text is presented in yellow and blue in order to be dyslexia friendly. The questions include: Sut wyt ti? Faint ydy dy oed di? Ble rwyt ti’n byw? Sut mae’r tywydd heddiw? Sut oedd y tywydd ddoe? Beth wyt ti’n hoffi wneud? Oes anifail anwes 'da ti? Ble rwyt ti’n hoffi mynd? Ble est ti? Beth ydy dy hoffi ___? Pwy ydy dy ffrind di? The spinners are an exciting alternative to the placemat as they are much more interactive and have proved to be a very popular resource. The images are attributed to Flaticon via the Premium Plan.
