Scientific Conclusions Support Mat KS2

(0)
A key word and phrase mat, one for LKS2 and one for UKS2 which contain editable vocabulary and phrases to support conclusion writing skills for primary science. Created with SEN children in mind but also useful for all when developing conclusion writing early in the academic year. The example vocabulary is for Year 3 light and Year 6 electricity topics although this can be edited for other areas of the primary science curriculum. The LKS2 phrases aim to support simple explanations and start to develop the children’s ability to discuss their measurements or data. The UKS2 phrases build on this using a range of phrases which encourage children to compare, analyse and justify their ideas. I will be using these to support children with dyslexia, lower ability pupils and those who find organising their ideas more challenging.
