This is a four pages resource that is aimed for students studying French at GCSE level. The content is related to Christmas. Here is the content of the document: A dialogue between three teenagers talking about their Christmas plans. 6 exercises that follow and are based on the dialogue. The exercises are varied. They help practise their grammatical knowledge (tenses) and help expand their vocabulary. First, the students have to find some verbal phrases in the present, passé composé and near future tenses from the dialogue. Then, they have to read statements (In English) and find who said that in the text. They also have to find phrases from the dialogue which mean the same thing as some new statements given to them in French. There is an exercise in which they must find and note down Christmas-related vocabulary. They is a gap filling exercise in which they must conjugated verbs in the near future to express Christmas plans. Finally, they should be able to write down a short paragraph about their own plans at the end of the worksheet. Enjoy!

I created this game as part of a languages celebration day at my school. This is a fun activity which allows the pupils to practise some phrases in a variety of languages and be observant too, as they often have to translate unknown vocabulary or titles of disney movies, for example. They can rely on their own knowledge and the use of cognates. This game can work perfectly with KEY STAGE1, 2 and 3. The languages used are mainly French, Spanish, Italian, German with a couple of others.
