A text using lots of reflexive verbs with a few activities building up to a translation of the whole text. Pupils need to recognise an infinitive, present tense and simple future tense as well as reflexive forms. This can also be used as a good starting point for pupils to write about their own routine.

A loop game to practice giving opinions and justifying them about free time activities. Each card has a phrase in English and a phrase in French on the back- cut them out and fold them over. Hand out the cards. The first person reads out their English phrase and whoever has the French equivalent reads it out. Then that person turns over their card and reads out their English phrase. Keep going until the final card is read out - the first person should have the answer on their card if it has gone well. Try timing the class to see how quickly they can get through it.
